Since 2010, Acrowire has served the legal industry with a primary focus on developing intranets and extranets for legal industry clients.  We have leveraged this experience and expertise into the development of Acrowire’s first official product, InfodashInfodash has been deployed to many of the nation’s top law firms with great success and is an ongoing evolution of Acrowire’s determination and focus on providing best-in-class technologies and services for the legal industry. 

As Infodash continues to gain traction in the market, our need for standout talent in the operations and project management space continues to grow as well.  Our ultimate goal is to find and onboard an individual that 1) can help us oversee and closely manage our current and future Infodash implementation projects, 2) brings an energetic presence to our leadership, management and delivery teams, and 3) has the drive and commitment to help us continue to evolve our Infodash product into the best-in-class solution for the legal industry and beyond.

A successful Project Operations Manager is passionate about both internal and external client communications, solving internal and clients’ problems and is interested in the ever-changing capabilities of emerging technologies for our clients.  The ability to focus and drive project team results related to budgets, schedules and timelines for multiple projects in parallel is critical.  Executive presence and tact in communications with internal and external client teams is also very important. 

 

Project Management Specific Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Ongoing solicitation of input from technical resources for time estimates and work breakdowns 
  • Compiling progress and status reports for project stakeholders 
  • Tactfully mentoring client team members in techniques, methods and approaches related to project delivery 
  • Ongoing communications to align project stakeholder expectations 
  • Contribute where possible to delivery process practices and disciplines 
  • Communicate with Executive level leadership, senior business & IT 
  • Lead discussions for requirements gathering/clarification, technical project planning, and delivery 
  • Lead project change discussions as needed, and ensure scope, timeline and budget clarity across internal project team, client project team, internal leadership and client leadership teams 

Internal Operations Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide continuous feedback on project progress, issues and recommendations for improvement to the leadership team 
  • Identify and communicate feedback and recommendations related to company initiatives to improve the market presence & delivery quality 
  • Provide support and input on market / brand-building activities for the company when not focused on client delivery initiatives 
  • Design and propose future-state project delivery team organization structure 
  • 3+ years experience in project management and/or consulting 
  • Confidence in communication with broad spectrum of prospects/customers in organizations – CXO down 
  • Proven communication & presentation skills for interaction with client and senior management Also to communicate business processes and solutions to junior members and non-technical business people 
  • Understanding of common project management methodologies 
  • Ability to capture, understand, and translate business requirements into a collection of artifacts to support project delivery 
  • Ability to lead teams of users, analysts and designers, conduct requirements gathering, propose and effectively articulate ideas, and build consensus 
  • Ability to successfully manage project delivery to budget, timeline & scope 
  • Confidence and ability to tactfully confront and raise concern with internal project team when timeline, budget and/or scope appears at risk 
  • Confidence to raise hand and require attention when/before client requests exceed agreed upon scope, budget or timelines 

Must Haves: 

  • Project Management experience and relevant stories about struggles and how you prevailed  
  • Confidence to speak up when something looks wrong or at-risk, regardless of the recipient of the news 
  • A tactful and fact-driven approach in all communications, internally and externally 
  • Strong general written and verbal communications; candidate must be comfortable communicating with both business and technical resources (internally and externally) to help bridge gaps and reduce miscommunications 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience creating typical project documentation, such as process maps, wireframes and project plans using Microsoft Visio, Project and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a dynamic environment using a variety of technologies

Nice to Haves: 

  • Big 4, Accounting Advisory and/or Consulting Firm Experience 
  • Knowledge or certifications in Project Management, Agile, SCRUM or other related disciplines 
  • Development/programming experience (even front-end web development) 
  • Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online experience 
  • Experience serving legal industry clients
