Joy Heath Rush serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), an organization dedicated to providing educational and networking resources for nearly 25,000 legal professionals and technologists worldwide. In her role, she manages ILTA’s operations, a global network of volunteer leaders, and a professional team of over 35 staff members. With nearly three decades of experience at Sidley Austin LLP in various technology and leadership capacities, along with over five years as an executive at Litera Microsystems, Joy possesses a profound understanding of the challenges faced by member organizations. Her leadership extends to peer networking groups in legal technology, having previously served as President of the ILTA Board and as a volunteer Board member, where she represented the diverse perspectives of women in the field. Joy is also an accomplished speaker and writer on technology and leadership topics, participating in numerous legal events such as ILTACON and ABA Tech Show. Recognized for her contributions, she was named one of the Women in Legal Technology by the ABA in 2019 and received the Influential Women in Tech Award in 2022. Joy's professional philosophy emphasizes serving her constituents with intelligence, dedication, and passion while fostering a positive and motivating environment for her team.
